Biography

Sam won his first cap for Scotland in the 2015 6 Nations against France at the Stade de France.

Sam plays in the competitive position of scrum half, and his rugby nous and athletic qualities make him stand out from other competitors.   In the 2014/2015 season, Sam made an impressive number of appearances and set a new Edinburgh Rugby record for points in a single European Challenge Cup game.  Achieving a European club record in the semi-final was the icing on the cake and won him Edinburgh Rugby's Young Player of the Year.

Off the pitch Sam has a keen interest in business and is always working hard to develop his knowledge in this area. He will regularly take the opportunity to connect with and quiz top business leaders on their experience and build lasting relationships.
