Biography

Jackson re-signed for Glasgow Warriors in the summer of 2017, and extended his contract for a further year in 2018. He plays both full-back and fly-half.

Ruaridh scored his first points for Scotland in dramatic circumstances at Pittodrie Stadium in his home city of Aberdeen. He slotted a penalty from the 22 metre line with the last kick of the match to seal victory over Samoa in the final EMC Autumn Test of 2010. He has since gone onto to win 33 caps for his country, the most recent during the 2018 summer tour.

Off the pitch, Ruaridh has set up the Garden Shed Drinks Company with fellow Glashow Warriors alumni Ryan Grant which in first year of trading has been nominated for an award at the 2018 Scottish Gin Awards.
