Biography

Mark won a Silver Olympic medal in Rio by representing Team GB 7s in the Olympic final. Mark is one of the most experienced sevens specialist in the game today and is well respected amongst players and coaches across the world.

In May 2016, Mark was part of the Scotland 7's squad that won a historic first ever World Rugby 7's series win at Twickenham. The victory was secured in a thrilling fashion with 2 tries in the final 2 minutes and Mark playing a huge part with a storming run in the build up to the series winning try.

Aside from rugby Mark achieved a MSc from Edinburgh University in 2012 and is passionate about passing on his experience to the younger generation. Mark is an inspirational speaker especially around the mindset required for an individual and a team to reach their potential. 

As a budding businessman with an interest in sport through his school of 7s and an interest in business Mark is continually developing himself and is currently undertaking a number of work experience opportunities.
