Resilient Laidlaw kicks Scotland to victory

21 November 2016

Scotland Captain and #teamredsky member Greig Laidlaw showed resilience, drive and nerves of steel in the final minutes to kick Scotland to victory over Los Pumas in a tight affair on Saturday at Murrayfield.

After the efforts throughout the team last week in a valiant defeat to Australia, it was an important win for Scotland Rugby. Jonny Gray, followed up a heroic performance last week against the Ozzies with another man of the match display this past Saturday.

Post-match, Laidlaw said, "After they scored (the try) the message under the posts was 'don't panic, we can score tries', and we hit straight back and pegged them back straight away. That was psychological, it was a massive blow (for Argentina).

"We're delighted with the win. We're still annoyed from that Australia game if we're being honest so delighted to come and just get on the right side of one today."
