Laidlaw signs long term deal at Clermont
The current Scotland and Gloucester captain Greig Laidlaw has signed a 3 year deal to play his club rugby at the French powerhouse Clermont-Ferrand.
Greig will be determined to perform at his best for the rest of the season before moving on from Gloucester at the end of the season to compete in one of the toughest leagues in the World. His ability to control a game and handle pressure situations will add to Clermont's quest to challenge for both the Top 14 title and European Champions Cup.
Red Sky Athlete Director Jason White commented, "this move will be a huge challenge for Greig but having played at Clermont for 3 years, I know that he will relish playing at the Stade Marcel Michelin and testing himself against the best players in the Top 14."
